TRIUMPHANT

Last Thursday, August 27, was the craziest, zaniest and techiest Online Anniversary Party I have ever attended, hands down!

For those clueless of what I am talking about, I'm referring to Feast Valle Verde's 13th Anniversary Online Celebration.  It was a night of unforgettable contribution, fun, surprise visits and gratitude!  The energy was infectious and overflowing, as were the prizes! Who would ever forget how techie a game of BINGO can be! haha!  Ribbons were flying, smiles were ear to ear and hearts, I believe, were touched - if not because of the presence of the 3 past Builders of FVV, or the beginning and ending Worship, it was due to the overflowing love, effort and generosity of time, talent and treasure by the leaders and servants of FVV. To all, a heartfelt THANK YOU!

Brothers and sisters of FVV, as we celebrate God's Faithfulness for 13 years, let us not forget all that we have learned throughout our Feast's existence:  the Joy of the Gospel, the Value of Relationships, and the Call to Grow and Transform. Let the colors of our party wands remind us of these. In the midst of this pandemic, we have mustered enough Faith to celebrate with Joy as shown by the color Yellow. Our relationships carried on the Spirit of Hope symbolized by Blue. But in every story of Faith and Hope, the Sacrifice of Love depicted by the color Red, is the fuel that propels one to move on, in fact, to keep on moving on... until one reaches one's Triumph!

I said it before, and I will say it again...It is a distinct privilege to be the Builder of the very first and longstanding Feast ever. But I guess, it is more of an honor to be your Builder at this time when triumph, after triumph, the FVV family not just survives, but thrives in the midst of crisis. Yes, all is by God's Grace. But not to deny the hearts and hands of everyone in FVV still serving, still connecting, still praying. It is therefore with more certain vision that we all look to a bigger, brighter and better future ahead of us, a future of Disciples Making Disciples.

Feast Valle Verde Family, let us celebrate more than ever God's Triumph in our lives and in our community! To God be all the Love and Glory!
