MISSION: POSSIBLE

“Your mission, _____, should you decide to accept it, is _______. As always, should you or any of your IM Force be caught or killed, the Secretary will disavow any knowledge of your actions. This tape will self-destruct in five seconds.”

I love this famous line from a very popular 80s’ TV series, Mission: Impossible. It warns of danger and difficulty, but at the same time, challenges the recipient of the message to fulfill the call.

Friends, as we come to the end of Deuteronomy with Talk 8 of our amazing series DEAR PRODIGALS, gain wisdom from the journey of Moses and be challenged to cross into your very own “Promised Land.” Gain insight to answer the question: When things don’t go as planned, can you still trust that God is still in charge?

Dear FOD, I may have said in last week’s Feast Bulletin that “Every beginning starts with an ending.” But if you are with the Lord, if there is a mission or purpose, you never know—the seeming ending may actually just be a waiting. We entrust to the Lord’s will our endings and our beginnings. One thing however is sure: God has a plan. God has a plan for you. He has given you a mission.

My mission as your District Builder is to ensure the fulfillment of our Vision and Mission in the areas of Ortigas, San Juan, Pasig, and South Quezon City. FOD has expanded and will now expand all the more with an addition of Feast Timog and Feast Greenhills this coming October 1. Feast Novotel 2PM Session continues. Will Feast Novotel AM return or find itself in another venue in the future? We don’t know. One thing we do know: God has a plan for us. God has given us the Mission to Make Disciples.

Trust in the Lord. Whatever has happened, is happening, and will happen in your life, know that God is in control. He will not disavow you nor let His message self-destruct. He is a loving Father who takes care of His Children and envisions only the best for them. He has a plan for you. He has a mission for you.
