AUTHORITY TO MERCY

Last Monday, October 5 was the Feast of the Apostle of Divine Mercy, St. Faustina Kowalska. It was thru her that the Lord gave the Devotion to the Divine Mercy. This is where the “3 o’clock Prayer” came from, where we honor and recall the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross to save us out of His Love and Mercy.

Truly, the Lord is merciful. God as He is, He has all the right to impose His Will and be justified with His commands towards us, His subjects. But does He “lord over” His Authority? No! In fact, He decided to take on our “human form” just to be “God with us!” He has compassion for our plight as humans and understands our weaknesses. He is willing to give us consideration...beyond expectation! He is Merciful.

Friend, welcome to our the 5th talk of our series Miracles and More entitled, Make Me Forgiven. Are you afraid of God’s Authority? You might be surprised to discover that you need not be. God is Love and He loves you beyond your understanding. He understands our weaknesses and is willing to forgive us. Allow the Spirit to invite you, heal you, bless you to receive the Mercy of God today. His Authority is actually His Mercy.
