CLEAN

“Cleanliness is next to Godliness.”

This phrase now a days could be very well be an indispensable principles or rule...unless you want to meet God prematurely! This Pandemic has brought people to such an awareness as to the importance of “being clean”. In fact I think we have a rise in the number of people popularly termed as “OC” (Obsessive Compulsive) due to the Covid situation. I don’t blame them as this is one of the main defenses we have against disease of any kind.

The Israelites however had a different level of being “OC”. One had to be “ritually clean” to be accepted, not just in the Temple, but even in society. Persons deemed as “unclean” had to suffer the direst discrimination and even the attribution of “not belonging to God”. How dreadful! What does it mean to be “unclean” and how do we become “clean”. That is what this Tall will address.
