Today Will Be A Tough Word

Many believe that God blesses good people and curses bad people.

But this is too simplistic. In fact, there’s an entire book in the Old Testament—The Book of Job—that totally debunks this belief.

Because in reality, if there were two farmers—Farmer Good and Farmer Bad—do you notice how the sun shines and the rain falls on both their farms? Isn’t that so unfair?

But the Bible also says that at some end point in history, our deeds will catch up on us. Our actions have consequences. We will be held accountable for our deeds. But before that happens, His mercy overflows.

God blesses people who like Him and people who don’t like Him. God blesses both His friends and His enemies.

And that’s what He wants us to do as well.

Have a powerful Feast experience!

May your dreams come true,

Bo Sanchez,

Talk's Scripture Reference: Matthew 5: 38-41 NLT

“You have heard the law that says the punishment must match the injury: ‘An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth.’ But I say, do not resist an evil person! If someone slaps you on the right cheek, offer the other cheek also. If you are sued in court and your shirt is taken from you, give your coat, too. If a soldier demands that you carry his gear for a mile, carry it two miles.”

Matthew 5: 43-48 NLT

“You have heard the law that says, ‘Love your neighbor’ and hate your enemy.  But I say, love your enemies! Pray for those who persecute you!  In that way, you will be acting as true children of your Father in heaven. For he gives his sunlight to both the evil and the good, and he sends rain on the just and the unjust alike. If you love only those who love you, what reward is there for that? Even corrupt tax collectors do that much.  If you are kind only to your friends, how are you different from anyone else? Even pagans do that. But you are to be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect.

Leviticus 19: 18 NLT

“Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against a fellow Israelite, but love your neighbor as yourself.”

Leviticus 19: 33 NLT

“Do not take advantage of foreigners who live among you in your

land. Treat them like native-born Israelites, and love them as you love

yourself. Remember that you were once foreigners living in the land of Egypt. I am the LORD your God.

Psalm 145:8-9, 15-16 NIV

The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made.

The eyes of all look to you,  and you give them their food at the proper time. You open your hand and satisfy the desires of every living thing.
