Pay Love Forward

The goodness of God shouldn't stop within us. It must be shared with everyone, for it is through His Mercy and Grace that we are saved.

Serving at the Love Life Retreat (LLR16) made me see God's love from another perspective. At first, I doubted if my heart was in the right place to serve in a retreat. Little did I know that God would reveal so much to me that weekend.

First, He taught me how to humble myself and place the needs and pains of others before my self. God taught me how painful it was to intercede for others, to die to myself so that others might live. The same way He died on the cross so I may live.

Second, God taught me that when in doubt, try to look at the bigger picture. There is no such thing as a small service. I am part of the body of Christ, and just like the rest of the body parts, I have an important role to play and no amount of service is ever small to God. Even when I felt small, He used me to serve during the LLR.

Lastly, God revealed to me that there are so many souls that need His love. A lot of people need saving, and the reason why I was also there that weekend was for Him to make me witness it.

God made me realize that one year ago, I was once an LLR attendee too. From there on, He changed me, saved me, and made my life even more meaningful and purposeful.

And what better way to praise God who loves me but to pay the same love forward.

Thank you Lord!

Indeed, we learn how to love because You first loved us.
