Is God Really Generous? (Are You Sure?)

Have you noticed?
Whenever the devil tempts you to sin—whether it be to lust, or greed,
or pride—it all starts by inserting in your mind this insidious thought that
“God is stingy.” And because God is stingy, the devil tells you, “Do you want
something? He won’t give it to you. Take matters into your hands and
cheat, steal, lie, and kill.”
All sin, at its core, is a lack of trust in God’s generosity.
All sin is rooted in a scarcity mindset.
I’m happy you’re at the Feast, because in this online space, you get a
glimpse of your exceedingly generous God.
Welcome to our journey through the Gospel of Matthew!
May your dreams come true,
Bo Sanchez

Talk's Scripture Reference:
Talk 16: You’re A Factory Of Miracles Matthew 7: 7-11 NLT
“Keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking,
and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to
you. 8 For everyone who asks, receives. Everyone who seeks, finds. And to
everyone who knocks, the door will be opened. 9 You parents—if your children
ask for a loaf of bread, do you give them a stone instead? 10 Or if they ask
for a fish, do you give them a snake? Of course not! 11 So if you sinful people
know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your
heavenly Father give good gifts to those who ask him.
Genesis 3: 1 NLT
“Did God really say you must not eat the fruit from any of the trees in the
garden"
right…”
Genesis 4: 6 NLT
“Why are you so angry?” the Lord asked Cain. “Why do you look so
dejected? You will be accepted if you do what is right…”
Deuteronomy 11: 26 NLT
“Look, today I am giving you the choice between a blessing and a
curse!”
